Guidelines for opponent groups

It is important that the opposition is regarded as part of a positive and constructive learning process, whereby both the project and opponent group gain important new insights.

The opponent group is after the presentation responsible for the implementation of the discussion, which will last 5-10 minutes.

The overall process looks approx. like this:

• The opponent group deliver their agenda for the opposition, incl. the criticism (good and bad), they will touch on as acting opponents.

• Proceed constructively and positively - and allow discussions when they are relevant. Do not give direct criticism and opinions about the presented work, it is a learning process and not an evaluation. (As time is short, it is important that the opponent group has set priorities for the issues they will focus on the discussion. Below is a summary of ideas that can be of assistance to the opponents. It is advised that the group already has collected the points it intends to discuss.)

• Guidance teacher's comments and feedback

Good ideas for the opponent group

• Does the presentation meet requirements for the case study

• Overall assessment of the presentation - is there for example a link (a red thread) in the project? Is the conclusion, a natural extension of the problem formulation / assignment? Are conclusions based on proper analysis?

• Can the conclusion be read in direct continuation of the problem formulation / assignment text and does it correspond to this?

• Has the group used appropriate methods for solving the problem?

• Have theories
