Our vision is “To view change in the market as an opportunity to grow; to use our profits and our ability to develop and produce innovative products, services and solutions that satisfy emerging customer needs”
Opinion
Hewlett-Packard divides the vision into two parts; first is to view change in the market as an opportunity to grow that Hewlett-Packard will always look for the opportunity to expand their business into a higher level. Second is to use our profits and our ability to develop and produce innovative products, services and solutions that satisfy emerging customer needs that Hewlett-Packard wants to provide the best products and services to satisfy the customer needs.
Hewlett-Packard should retain its vision, it is because:
Hewlett-Packard’s vision is clearly justified detail what they want to be in the future, for example, they will always look for the opportunity to grow and provide innovative products to customers. Its vision is complete, yet still easy to be understood.
Besides, the Hewlett-Packard’s vision details their vision of the future. The vision is successful and conveying the information what they want to become in the future. The vision of Hewlett-Packard also clearly describes the values and services for the future.
Hewlett-Packard put the view change in market as opportunity to grow as the first part of the vision. Through this, we can see that the market opportunity is very important for Hewlett-Packard. Hewlett-Packard wants to expand their business to another higher level in the market. By looking for the opportunity to grow in market, they will able to expand their business and this will induce change in their industry.
On the other hand, Hewlett-Packard also sets to satisfy customer needs by producing innovative products and services. This can see that the quality provided to customers is important for Hewlett-Packard. Hewlett-Packard also seem like not concern about the profit, all the Hewlett-Packard wants is to use their profits to develop and produce innovation products, service, and solutions for its customer to satisfy their needs.
However, Hewlett-Packard seem like isn’t satisfied to just become the only industry that provide the best products and services for their customers. Hewlett-Packard wants to expand their business opportunity and satisfy the customer needs. Thus, Hewlett-Packard can manipulate the marketplace and set a higher level.
