A. Human Resource Process of hiring:

1. Procedures

The hiring process is a two way street - just as they must make sure you're the right fit for the role, you need to make sure Standard Chartered is the right fit for you. The process will differ depending on the role you apply for, and the area of the business in which the role sits. Typically steps may include, an:

i. Application: Once you've found a role that interests you, you will need to submit your online application, including your latest CV / resume. Remember to think about the role you are applying for and tailor your CV / resume to clearly present relevant skills and experience.

ii. Interview: Interviews are a chance for us to get to know you better, and for you to find out more about us and how we work. Do your research and be sure to ask any questions, they’ll certainly be asking a few of you. The conversation will typically cover your experience, past responsibilities and achievements, as well as your strengths. There are no right or wrong answers, the aim of the conversation is to decide whether we're the right fit for each other.

iii. Assessment: In addition to interviews, they may also ask you to complete a series of job-related assessments. These will differ depending on the role you have applied for and may include any or all of the following:

• Ability tests - designed to measure the extent to which you can carry out different aspects of your role. Tests may include numerical reasoning and / or logical reasoning

• Talent assessments - designed to assess talents and strengths, or how you like to work

• Simulation exercises - designed to simulate specific and important aspects of the role for which you are applying. Examples include role plays and presentations.
