- How do we make our laws?
• Laws is made by the interacts of our behavior; we can vote to create our laws; not only vote, but also made by our court intemperate our laws
- Law system has two parts. The criminal laws and civil laws. The function of criminal law is to regulate our behaviors. Civil laws help to protect the right we have.
- Different type of court system.
• England has church courts and state courts.
• These courts overlapped. Federal courts will have the similar cases of state courts.

• Second: function of court is to get an answer (punish or not).

- The burden of persuasion. Who must prove their version of rights, the government is charging you. Government should prove you are innocent.
- The burden of proves. The standard of the burden of persuasion must be meet. Criminal cases in this ways are higher.
