The experience of college forces individuals to take a close look at the way they choose to spend their money. The pricing of education is the most damaging aspect when it comes to budgeting and spending including tuition, books & supplies, room & broad and computer. As a result, I have noticed most of my spending habits during my time in college. First, I have a tendency to buy branded materials; the branded materials range from a north face jacket to a Colgate toothbrush. The sense of the popular brand name makes me feel better as if it might work better because of the status of the brand. Ironically, I used to buy non-brand but over the years I have shifted my spending habits towards branded. Therefore, the materials I buy are more costly than the materials I use to buy. Truly, I can’t even honestly say I can tell the difference at times. So, why pay more?
