Everyone is looking out for him or herself and find ways to make more money. She has found herself in situations were she has to let go of a outstanding employee because her boss wants to cut cost. It is hard, but she finds ways to come to a compromise so the company can run smoothly. She tried to put on perspective what is more important for the company as opposed to just making one person more money.

Rivera manages her boss by suggesting a better alternative when her boss is about to make a foolish decision. However, she understands that there will be times where he won’t agree with her. Another important things is to communicate clearly, when dealing with her boss, she speak and writes in short sentences, use the fewest words possible to make a point, and make that point easily understandable. At the end of the day, she does have to make her boss successful so the company is successful. She has to make sure her department is working at it’s best to bring more customers into the dealership which will make the company more money and ultimately make her boss more money.
