- Successful leaders have a clear sense of purpose. What is your statement of purpose?
I am from a humble background. I belong to a small village in Rohtash district of Bihar. My father retired from Indian Army after serving for almost 26 years. My mother is a house-wife. My parents still reside in Rohtash. I have two brothers and one sister. One of my brother is pursuing his B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur.
I had the freedom to make most of my decisions, as my father was always away from home due to professional commitments. My parents have always supported my decision & I have always tried to make them feel proud.
I am gregarious by nature with good sense of humor. I gel with people very quickly and easily. My colleagues and friends have always appreciated my work and team spirit. Coming from a defense family, punctuality and discipline has always there in me right from the childhood.
After working for almost two and half years, I want to study new thing. Luckily I got admission into IIM Lucknow. I have been involved as a technical resource for various projects in my 33 months of tenure with Infosys, and now I want to explore some of the business and functional aspects of clients. My short term goal is to be a functional consultant in a reputed business enterprise and assist the client in resolving their business problems by leveraging my technology experience & Business knowledge gained during PGP. As a logical extension to my short term goal, my long-term plan would be to see myself as a seasoned professional in consulting, leading a group within a business enterprise. Also, I would like to contribute to society in education sector as I come from a humble background and most of the people in my village are Below Poverty Line (BPL). I have not figured out yet how I will help them, but I hope to find a way in due course of time.
