Nowadays, there is a hot topic about recruitment that is a process seeking and attracting skilled and qualified people for a job vacancy. When a job vacancy exists, there are some strategies can be chosen that are, internal recruitment, external recruitment or a combination of both. There is a debate about the companies which usually need recruit outside, they can face many problems due to accept unknown a person as a staff. Which one is the best way using internal applicants or looking externally to recruit for vacancy position. Older firms give preferences to internal candidates whereas many modern firms tend to focus more on external work-force. The modern companies consider that there are many skilled person outside and seen talented people as main source of their future .Sometimes they use using a mixed strategy as each one has many advantages and disadvantages. Before compare the two strategies it is better to learn what they mean.
What is internal recruitment? This refers to the filling of job vacancies from within the business - where existing employees are selected rather than employing someone from outside. A business might decide that it already has the right people with the right skills to do the job, particularly if its training and development programme has been effective.

How is it done? Internal recruitment can be done in several ways.
• Direct appointment or promotion by management
• Lateral transfer of an employee from one section or job to another.
• Internal advertising.
What is external recruitment? It is refers to the filling of job vacancies from outside the company through the talent pool outside. Most businesses engage in external recruitment fairly frequently, particularly those that are growing strongly, or that operate in industries with high staff turnover. • Head-hunters / Recruitment Consultancies
• Job centres
• Government Funded Training Schemes
• Advertising Media (Print media-Radio-Tv-Cinema-Internet)

• Referrals from existing employees
