Kudler Fine Foods is a specialty food store that provides customers with fine foods and ingredients from all over the world. They take pride in being one of kind as they offer items that are great quality and are hard to find. Kudler Fine Food has been in business since 1998 located in the San Diego metropolitan area. With three locations and looking to expand, Kudler Fine Foods, strategic planning and understanding the interrelationships between the functional areas of the business is essential.

Analysis of the Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals

Kudler Fine Foods mission is to provide every customer with a delightful and pleasing shopping experience. Their clear and concise mission allows the company to succeed in their area of expertise. Reformulating the direction of Kudler Fine Foods to reflect their new company mission is key to narrowing down the firm’s intent. As the future of the business relies heavily toward expansion, every aspect of the functional areas of the business must come into play to guarantee success. The company’s vision correlates with their goals to expand as they want to provide for their shoppers who are searching for the finest meats, produce, cheeses, and wines. Kathy Kudler, the founder, has found a location for the fourth store in Carlsbad, CA. Once the Calrsbad CA store is open the Del Mar location will be phased out as the location is not doing as well as expected. Kathy recognizes that the demand for gourmet food has grown tremendously, therefore, opportunities such as geographical expansion throughout California is something that is in the near future. Her goal is to open new stores in San Diego, Palm Springs, San Francisco, and even Santa Barbara. However, the next possible site is in the San Francisco area. Through the mission, vision, values, and goals Kudler Fine Foods will continue to grow and by reevaluating they will reach all of the company’s goals.
