LeBron James is the third biggest athlete in the world. LRMR which is LeBron's own firm that he created to handle all aspects of his business ventures and marketing activities. He was asked about making a video game, he received three different endorsement offers. LeBron has special criteria for his game. He wanted to own or receive a portion of having his face of the over of a game. He also wanted to have his time commitment of the game considered. Also, the flexibility and the time it will take to make the game released to his fans and customers. He also stated that the LeBron brand is all about having fun.

The first offer was Electronic Arts, which is the powerhouse in the world of videogame development, publishing, and distribution. It is known for having different titles that revolve around basketball. With Electronic Art's offer of a two-year contract with being paid $400,000 the first year and $300,000 the second year. The only problem with their offer is that they do not get to own or get a portion of the profits from having his face on the cover of the game.

The second is by 2K Games, which is a videogame publishing subsidiary of Take-Two interactive. They wanted LeBron to become a signature athlete for the NBA 2K game. Also offering him a two-year contract with an up-front payment of $300,000 the first year and $350,000 the second year. Along with that if the game sold more than 4 million copies in its first two years, they would extend their contract for a third year for $400,000. Bonuses are also being offered to him from various sales targets. This offers everything to him that was in his criteria expect it might be time consuming on his part because of attending public relation events, interviews, and appearances.
