Market Analysis of Oxo

I choose to do analysis, evaluation and market recommendation about OXO kitchen utensil.
Analysis:
1,Product: The kitchen utensil produced by OXO Co. is similar to the the kitchen utensil which produced by other company. I mean just from the basic functions' view. But on the other hand, the kitchen utensil produced by OXO Co. are more focus on the detail. For example of a bottle opener for the red wine, the basic structure is almost same with other brand's product. But if anyone look carefully, the craft on every corner of this one is more delicate than others. The weight, the smooth level and the design of the small corner are better. And because of these little advantages get together, when you use it, you can feel it is easier to open the bottle of red wine than any other brands' products. It is just a standard example of OXO kitchen utensil.
2, Price: The price of OXO products is not such friendly to every customers. For example of the bottle opener for the red wine, the one on target's shelf is sold for 16.00$ without tax. That is every expensive to a product with such a simple structure. As I have been worked for Chinese manufacture. This kind of products' cost should not be more than 3 dollars. So I think the OXO products have a higher level target customers than other normal brands.
3, Place: The place where I found OXO products is Target supermarket. It is a place where most house wives willing to go. Because it is usually convenient for people to view. It is not too far from where people lives and could create more chances to let customers to view it. And in my opinion, target's branches' design is little better Wal-mart. This is explains why this brand's products are more willing to appear on Target's shelf. Because the marketing managers of OXO think that is a better way to meet their customers.
4,Promotion: The OXO products do promotions. I can find some advertisements of it on the Youtube. But there are not very much advertisements obviously. And the most useful way it used is give some discounts on its price tags. Because the customers can find out the different between the OXO products and other brands kitchen utensil. But the difficulties for the customers to do a purchase is the price. Not everyone could handle such a high price of the kitchen utensil. So according to the economic rules in normal scene.
