Marketing strategy

E-Press will focus on the demographic market segmentation which is one of the most common approaches to segmenting markets. With this strategy, our company simply divides the larger market into groups based on several traits. Age, gender, and income are the traits that our company considered about. In term of age, the teenagers and adult people needs our product the most compared to the old people. Other than that, E-Press is more helpful for women compared to men. E-Press is a safety product which can protect women. Lastly, we are concentrating on higher income earners as they prefer high-tech and quality product like our E-Press. It is not only high-tech product but also a safety gadget. Thus, we are selling our product to the end user through the distributor.

Promotion strategy

In order to make E-Press reach the target market, promotion is the main method that we used. Promotion helps our company to increase sales, attract customers, improve product recognition and enhance brand identity.

So, we promote E-Press through advertising. The main objective we choose advertising to promote E-Press is it can catch the attention of the customer to find out more about E-Press. Television, radio, online and business cards are the media that we use to promote our product. We chose several channels to advertise E-Press such as AXN, TV3, Astro AEC, Astro Vaanavil, and STAR WORLD because these are the channels that people like to watch. By advertising E-Press on radio, it has the ability to reach specific target market such as teenagers and adults. We want to advertise E-Press on Hitz.fm, Thr.fm and Sinar.fm which are the popular radio station in Malaysia. Online advertising is the best way to catch people’s eyes. According to our survey that we have done, we find out that advertising on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube help E-Press to be a well-known safety product. Most of the customers also go online to purchase new products. So, they may see our product’s advertisement and tend to buy it. We will have the right online marketing strategy that can help us secure new customers and gain competitive advantages.

Moreover, we will purchase cinema advertising to advertise our E-Press on the screen. So, the people who are coming to watch movies will also notice our advertisement of E-Press. This is because normally before the movie starts, they will advertise some of the products including E-Press. In addition, roadshow is another way for us to promote E-Press. We will
