1. The current strategy and promotions regarding senior citizens that Lisa Aham, applies to her McDonald’s have positive effects on the image of her restaurant. Lisa Aham’s restaurant has a number of factors that improve the restaurant’s image. Senior citizens and consumers value convenience, quality of service, and dependability in a business and Lisa Aham’s McDonald’s possesses all those qualities. The restaurant’s ability to withstand or house between 100 and 150 senior’s every morning for more than one hour without overcrowding concerns portrays the convenience of the location to senior citizens as well as other costumers. The development of relationships or friendships between senior customers and Lisa Aham’s employees and including the senior visitations improve the quality of service of the restaurant. The quick and hassle free service offered by the restaurant despite the large number of customers, improves the McDonald’s image as a dependable fast-food restaurant.

2. Lisa Aham should continue to encourage more senior citizens to come and dine at her restaurant. The senior citizen market brings many advantages to Lisa Aham’s restaurant in the marketplace. Most of the senior citizens visit the restaurant during quiet times of the day and this leads to increased revenues and cash inflow for the business during hours that would be otherwise unprofitable. Senior citizens also spend more money and time at the McDonalds because they come to the restaurant in large numbers and they spend more hours at the restaurant than any other customer. Encouraging senior citizens at the restaurant improves the image of Lisa Aham’s restaurant and causes the seniors to spread the word about the business to other seniors and extended family members. Therefore, encouraging more seniors to come to the restaurant will improve the image of the McDonald’s in society and increase the revenue and cash inflows of the business during slow business hours.
