Quick Clips is a hairdressing business proposed by Harry Comstock, Jim Chou and Melissa Trifiletti. The business will hopefully cut into an untapped niche within the hairdressing industry in a way that has never been done before, by providing their haircuts at an affordable price yet still remaining up to date with the current styles & trends. Initially the business will be set up in Box Hill, but the plan is to eventually open up some more stores around Melbourne, and then once the business becomes more successful look at franchising out to the rest of Australia. Quick Clips needs to be aware of what type of people they are going to be dealing with and what type of cultures they have in place. As quick clips will initially start up in Box Hill, the business will need to look at the demographic of the area and how varied theses differences are. With Box Hill having a high concentration of different multi cultural & ethnic groups it would be beneficial for the business to try and employ hairdressers from these groups. So that when a customer comes for a hair cut at quick clips, they can feel comfortable knowing that there is someone there who shares a similar culture and background. This can be a critical point of difference between Quick Clips and their competitors and ensure that there is continued return business with their customers. The same can be applied for when Quick Clips
