My name is Nik and I am in a country called Kava. It is a very small island country in the South Pacific. When you think of an island you immediately imagine tropical paradise and a beautiful place to take a vacation. The island isn't beautiful any more. This island has a vast amount of potential to become a true island paradise. Unfortunately, Kava has been plagued with many natural disasters such as tsunamis, typhoons, hurricanes, and tornadoes, floods, fires, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes Man-made disasters like petroleum spills and health epidemics such as HIV/AIDS and the Avian Flu have left the country in turmoil. As of now the population is under 15 and the island has an ethnic mix of indigenous South Pacific tribes, Asian, African, French, Spanish, and a sizeable amount of Americans. Many languages are spoken there such as numerous indigenous languages, Spanish, English, and French. Religion composition in Kava consists of 50% indigenous practice whereas the remaining faiths are divided between Christianity, Buddhism and Islamic. Kava's economy consists of petroleum, coffee, cocoa, spices, bananas, sugar, tourism, fishing, natural gas, and cheap, quality labor. The territory needs an external assistance badly. In this regard, services of my company are very useful, if not to say essential for Kava, at the moment, Kava is not able to cope with natural disasters as well as numerous internal problems, such as epidemics, ineffective management. Consequently, the main problem of Kava is poor and ineffective management, especially the disaster management. As a result, Kava slipped to socio-economic ruin with limited opportunities to find the way out without the assistance of Helping Hands Corporation. Kava needs my company and we need Kava too because of its rich natural resources and considerable economic potential, taking into consideration the location of Kava, its natural resources and prospects of the development of the local tourist industry. This means that the company needs to use the current problems of Kava for its own benefits, but it is important to meet ethical norms in order to prevent the opposition from the part of the local population and gain the respect of the local authorities.
It is possible to make several decisions which can help the company's shareholders meet their goals and solve existing problems. The mission of helping hands is to reach out to under developing countries and try to rebuild and bring stability back into the country.
