I would like to discuss the systems viewpoint. This viewpoint allows one to perceive an organization as a group of classifications within a large setting. A system is a part of unified and codependent areas, connected to produce as a whole. There are two main types within the systems viewpoint. The first system is open system. The open system interacts with the environment in a dynamic manner. The second system is the closed system. The closed system has no interactions and is not influenced by the surroundings, which they are in. There are also four portions of a system, which offers understanding on the different types of organizations. The first portion is the input. The input includes people, equipment, money, information, and other materials needed for the company and its services. The things that go into the system are considered an input. The second part is the transformational processes. The transformational processes mainly relate to the company’s proficiency within management, core developments, and technology, which is transformed from inputs to outputs. The third is outputs. Outputs involve all services, products, gratification and dissatisfaction from employees, losses, and profits gained through the company or organization. The thing that comes out of the system is considered outputs. The last and fourth part is the feedback. The feedback contains information about the environments reactions to outputs, which affects the inputs. The systems viewpoint advises that managers are expected to become more prosperous if they try to operate their divisions as open systems rather than a closed system. This system has provided improvement towards complicated philosophies and the knowledge of in what way the pattern may come from a difficult system. There are two other viewpoints that are connected to the systems viewpoint. These systems are contingency and quality-management viewpoints. The contingency viewpoint explains the manager’s approach and how it should act upon the situation of the environment and individual. Quality-management viewpoint are made up of three approaches. Quality control is the first approach and it sets a plan in action to decrease errors. Quality assurance concentrates on the employees and their performance. These components of the systems viewpoint should be applied daily and offer success to the company.
