The North American market is filled with health claims such as gluten free, dairy free, low fat/reduced fat and low calorie launches. Within this huge number of product offerings, there are more and more premium product launches. Energy boosting taurine, ginseng, L-carnitine, and B-vitamins additions are also emerging. Also, the growing number of organic & fairtrade launches demonstrates an increasing concern for the environment and ingredient sourcing.
