The San Andreas Fault Marks the Junction Between the North American and Pacific Plates. the Fault Is 1300 Km Long, Extends to at Least 25 Km in Depth, and Has a North West-South East Trend. It Is Classified as a Right Lateral (dextral) Strike-Slip Fault.

We make certain assumptions about you as a student and these form the basic ground rules of the Department.

We assume that you are a mature young adult who has chosen to come to Esher College and that you are eager to learn and succeed.

You must bring pens, pencils, highlighters, calculator, ruler, paper, and a well organised file (including notes you have made from the textbook) to each lesson.

You will need to take responsibility for your own learning and maximise your potential by

• Completing and handing in all homework on time without being reminded. Late work may not be graded.

• Compiling a business news file of relevant articles/newspaper cuttings.

• Completing the set reading/note taking AND homework in advance of lessons.

• Booking a subject tutorial if after having attended a lesson and reviewed your notes, you still would like further support in understanding a concept/theory/technique.

• Preparing for all tests and examinations in line with our instructions.
