Introduction

Organizational culture includes the pattern of basic assumptions, values, norms and

artifacts shared by organization members. Culture influences how members of an organization

perceive, think and behave at work. “Further, culture can also affect whether firms can

implement new strategies and whether they can operate at high levels of excellence (Cummings

& Worley, 2015).

ANALYZE HOW IMPORTANT CULTURAL PRNCIPLES ARE USED TO SHAPE

BEHAVIOR DURING A PERIO OF ORGANIZTION GROWTH

When we look at the Behavioral Approach as a method of diagnosis and principles, we are

emphasing the surface level of organizational culture. Further, the Behavioral Approach is one

of the most practical approaches to diagnose culture because it assess key work behaviors that

are able to be observed.

On the other hand, this “approach provides specific descriptions about how tasks are

performed and how relationships are managed in an organization (Cummings & Worley, 2015).

In addition, cultural diagnosis derived from a behavioral approach can also be used to assess

the cultural risk of trying to implement organizational changes needed to support a new strategy.
