One the most known search tools on the World Wide Web today is Google, are raising the bar on innovated technology which makes it hard for others to follow. Since 1998 at a fast pace Google has become one of the most popular whys to gather information. Google user has the privilege to use the search engine free of charge it allows you to do a research which it will display a background of the search topic. They are looking for ways to expand the workforce for organization expansion, explore foreign markets, and produce new product that’s steady with the current treads. Workforce expansion will allow Google to reach the long term objective and that is new technology. With the structure primary being functional Google produce a new century culture where they welcome innovation and flexible policies. Google mission’s statement is to “Organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful (Google, 2005a).

I searched the company organization and other websites looking for their vision statement I did not see any but I did see some philosophies they were tailored toward the mission of the company. I conducted a Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threat (SWOT) analysis on google and I found a lot of their information interesting. I will go through and break down the different sections of the SWOT as it pertains to Google. Google strengths are it’s a strong brand name, broad web site appeal, and innovative search technology. The advertisers’ return on investment from advertising campaigns on our websites or our google Network members’ websites compared to other forms of advertising” google, 2005a, p. 22) Some of Google weaknesses are Finding new key employees and infrastructure, dependence on advertising, Lack of popularity, weak position in China, Most revenue from one product line (search), and lack of experience (Google, 2005a). Above I have described how the internal culture can affect the company as a whole.
