Personal Autobiography
March 16, 2016
My name is , I’m 30 years old and I’m from Brazil / Sao Paulo, married and I have a son with three years old. I’m applying for a course in Master Business Administration at Southern States University to achieve one more step in my academic history. Back in Brazil I have a bachelor degree in Business Management; it was a four years course at University Methodist of Sao Paulo/SP graduated with a high score. I also have a certificate program in Information Technology at SDUIS/CA, with a duration of an one year.
I worked at Sul America Insurance, one of the biggest insurance companies in Brazil as a trainee for one and a half year, I worked at the healthy insurance department doing small projects to improve process and for minimize risk, mistakes and even fraud. It was my first professional experience where I could learn and understand more about the corporate world beside my classes at University. At the same time I kept focused on my studies and start as a trainee in a top five consulting / accounting company, BDO Trevisan. I worked there for two years reaching the position of Senior III, what was pretty fast. Working as a consulting, I had the greatest experience of my life, the number of companies that I helped to improve their process, with fraud projects, SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) and more was very unique. At BDO I could try a variety of opportunities and work with all kind of people. Also at BDO I had the opportunity to be in charge of many projects, leading teams of 15 people. That experience made me develop skills as a leader, which was very difficult at begging, the knowledge to understand and get what each individual has better, is a truly gift and for sure that is not for everyone. I can list a few companies that I had the pleasure to work with as Unilever, doing project of SOX consulting and Auditing, Nestle, as a consulting for process improvements in many different areas inside the company. I used to work with a really close deadline, because all projects had a period to be completed and most of the times, wasn’t enough time. All the knowledge, experience that I absorbed during the years made me a better professional and well prepare for where I’m today.
