PART I

MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY

        God give us life for us to fulfill each and every plan of God in all His creation. 27July1992, the day that I would never forget for it is the day when God bless my mother a normal delivery to a new born healthy baby, me. I was named “JUGANENO” after the combination from the 1st syllables of the names of my 4 aunties: Ju- Judith; ga- Gaga; ne- Necy; no- Nora. We live simply in the province of Surigao del Sur. I have strong and caring siblings Juniele and Rico.

        When I was a year old I can already say “papa” but not as clear as it is spelled. And they told me that I was very playful in which my brothers also enjoyed. We used to play with me ending up crying because my siblings are fund of teasing me as fat little piggy of the family. And in the presence of my grandmother, they cheer me up with a song “butsikik” in order for me to do the dance move of my own. At the age of 2 plus I was sent to school as a visitor to the class of my older brother Rico. He told me that I was very silent in my first day in school with his classmates but later on I often participate to the lectures and singing of kid songs. My problem is that I can’t hold the pencil properly and write legibly. What my brother did is when we have writing activities he will do his activity as fast as he can and assist me afterwards. I was always excited to go with my brother at school because I have a lot of friends there.

        I was like a robot in my preschool age for I was copying what my brothers were doing until such time that I’ve learned to take a bath on my own, also brush my teeth and even learn to eat without the assistance of my parents. It’s just hard for me if my siblings tease me all the way and stop only when I cry. I don’t why I got easily hurt when the one teasing me is my brother or the two of them. But when others try to tease me it’s just a waste of time for them in trying to lit my temper. My mother told me that there’s nothing wrong with playing all the way around but what she is after is I am the kind who sweats easily and cough will follow at the later. In every meal we have I loved to eat with banana as a viand but with milk powder at the top of it and sometimes I dipped banana to it. At the time I did wrong or I make an offense my mother gives me a punishment as a disciplinary action for what I’ve done. This later inculcate in me not to commit a certain mistake to avoid the consequences of it. In our class I was the one who always volunteered for reading and reciting a poem and through this I was in the top of our class. And we then celebrate it with burgers and ice cream.

        In my elementary school age I did not find it hard to adjust in my classmates for I was used to be friendly with other kids like me. Of course we can’t avoid having an unfriendly classmate who could cause nothing but troubles and headache for our teacher. In this stage I have now a responsibility or share of labor in our household chores like applying floor wax and scrubbing the floor also washing the dishes and sweeping the floor. At home we a small store in which I’m often the cashier on it. At first it’s hard for me to count the total price of all the items to be bought by the costumers and also the change of the money if it’s more than the total. What I have did is I ask my parents to teach me how do the counting. As time passed by, and I learned finally how to do math if there is a costumer that would buy from us. And during our class even if I’m not that smart I find it easy to excel in our math subjects. And at this stage I first have a crush; she was kind and pretty and sings like a professional one. And since I know a little in dancing I try to expose and learn more in dancing in which I’m supported with my family. I joined the dance group in our school and we later compete and perform if there is a program or occasion in school or outside campus. I also expose myself to soccer, basketball and able tennis as my sport in our school. It feels great to learn different sports and other extracurricular activities it made me utilize my time well rather than to be just roaming around or just watching movies all the time.
