The certificate is a buyer assurance that the product he wants to buy is produced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. The Rainforest Alliance Certified meant to achieve long term sustainability and growth by enhancing the farmers and their families’ quality of life.

The farms or forests required this type of certificate must be examined and followed by on of Rainforest Alliance Certified team members or their international partners in the Sustainable Agricultural Network (SAN). The members belong to this network should conduct unannounced visits to audit and make sure that farmers following the main guidelines that comply with (SAN) standards. These standards include protecting the quality of the soil, reducing the use of chemical materials, protecting the wildlife and enhancing the quality of the farmers’ dependents life through giving them a good reception of education and also give more attention to the health care sector.
