A1a. Reflection on Seven Habits Profile - Indications of my leadership style
My Seven Habits Profile showed that I am a generally well-rounded leader. I am considered “very good” in five categories and “good” in the remaining 4 categories.
The two categories I received the lowest score in were Life Balance and Put First Things First. These are the two areas I am constantly trying to improve on and so these results only reinforce what I already knew. I have a tendency to put work above many other priorities in my life. Another problem I have is saying “no” when I have too much on my plate already. I also have a tendency to get distracted and procrastinate.
The categories I scored highest in reinforce my knowledge that I am a people-person. I do focus on connecting with people on a personal level, try to listen and understand others points of view, and give encouragement to others.

My three main strengths of this leadership style are selflessness, empathy, and focus.
Selflessness is an admirable quality in a leader. This has allowed several leaders from all levels of management to focus on the needs, and goals, of both their employees and the company. By focusing accomplishment recognition on their workers instead of themselves, they boost morale and job satisfaction for the employee, driving them to work harder. I have a strong tendency to put the needs and desires of others before my own. Although this isn’t good in every case, when it comes to managing and leading a team it allows me to focus on and assist my employees in reaching their goals.
As a leader, being able to understand the needs and motivation of their employees is important. I strive to understand my employees on a personal level. Knowing what they desire can help me to help them. It also helps in avoiding
