Team Conflict

Whenever you have a team made up of individuals, there will always be a chance for conflicts. The makeup of a team will have many different personalities. Their personalities are made up from their own beliefs and background. You might think this will cause problems but it helps. If everyone was the same then a solution would be harder to resolve because they would all think the same. The team comes up with a solution to problems because everyone has their own idea on how to handle it.
As stated earlier, a team is made up of many different individuals. When you have different individuals, you have the chance for conflicts. It is how you choose to handle those conflicts if the team is a failure or successful. You have to learn to manage conflicts instead of steering away from them. A team may learn from conflicts. Use the conflicts to grow as a team. If a team runs from conflicts it may cause the team to not be productive.
If the team is productive or not will hinge on how the team deal s with individual diversity and conflict management.
After completing the suggested reading in the Keys for College Studying, I preformed a search in Yahoo for academic honesty in higher learning. As stated in the readings, the search revealed broad results. The list contained few that interested me. The one that I used was found in EHow.Com and was titled the exact match to my search topic was. This is not always the case when searching in Yahoo or other search engines. I learned sometime ago that searching for a topic with quotation marks on both ends narrows down the list to things you only want. When I started my search, I only typed in key words that I was looking for. I wanted to narrow the search parameters down. I then tried to use INFOMINE and Academic Info to search for the same thing.
