INTRODUCTION
The Lincoln Electric Company is the world's largest manufacturer of welding machines and electrodes. Lincoln employs 2,400 workers in two U.S. factories near Cleveland and approximately 600 in three factories located in other countries. Lincoln Electric has 40 manufacturing locations, including operations and joint ventures in 19 countries and a worldwide network of distributors and sales offices covering more than 160 countries. It has been estimated that Lincoln's market share (for arc welding equipment and supplies) is more than 40 percent. This report will analyze about motivational theories which has been applied at Lincoln Electric. Besides, this report describes the nature and group behavior in Lincoln Electric, investigate factors that lead to effective team work, and evaluate the impact of technology on team functioning within Lincoln Electric.
