1. Briefly describe the MME you selected (who they are and what they do.)

The company I choose which is a company I previously worked for is Yankee Candle Company. If Yankee Candle had a store here in Texas I would gladly go back to working for them. I feel this company has all the abilities of becoming a household name overseas as it has here in the United States. Yankee Candle has a great product and is always looking for ways that they can better their products for the customer. Not only are their products fantastic but they hold their employees to a high standard when it comes to customer satisfaction. The return policies for unsatisfied customers are amazing and I wish more companies would provide the same type of guarantees. Even though the company does ship to Canada that is the closest ties Yankee Candle has to anything foreign.

For starters Yankee Candle products are made in a factory in Deerfield Massachusetts. This is probably the main reason for the high prices in which Yankee Candle are known for. As an employee we would always have to strive for customer satisfaction. When they say the customer is always right well that holds true with Yankee Candle customers. Customers can bring home their wax products and burn them and if the customer doesn’t like the smell, the candle doesn’t burn evenly down, or if it didn’t burn as long as we had promised the customer could come back for a full refund or exchange it for another product of their choice. There is no need for a receipt and as employees we weren’t allowed to question customers burning methods.

Although Yankee Candle isn’t a company that makes the world a better place or saves lives. It’s a company for more personal use for ones household. Something a customer can splurge on and know the product they are buying isn’t going to cause headaches in the future when it’s meant for the total opposite.
