Abstract
One of the most challenging things in life is participating in an interview. It is a big challenge to stand out to a potential employer. One of the key things is to research about the company that you are applying to. I will be discussing three different marketing strategies for three different parts. I'll also be talking about the three different marketing opportunities and which ones are best for which firms. Also I will be showing their risks and the effect it will have on the firm.
Three Marketing Strategies
Dmoz is a search engine company that only has human editors. With the extensive work that may have to do; which is index 3.5 million pages of information with over 400,000 categories, it proves to be a unique task because it must be done by an actual human. By doing this in what may seem like a rudimentary way it has proven to be highly reliable and one of the only legitimate ways to properly order the site. This makes the directory structure Very hard to make mistakes. Even though a lot of the work is done by others who submit to the site to the editor will still have to go back and make sure that the category doesn’t fit elsewhere. Internet browsers will now have the confidence to that be able to find anything that they actually look for because they will be able to find it in a certain category.
AltaVista has some of the same problems and processes as yahoo. But there are many things we assess these companies are. AltaVista has a clear advantage when searching for multimedia specific searches. The user interface is unique in having multiple tabs that enabled the specific searches for images audio and video.
Google is by far the industry standard for search engines. They are one of the most commonly used search engines. It boasts indexing of over four million web pages that are vastly spread throughout the world.
