Trillo Apparel Company executive summary

Trillo Apparel Company is a design and manufacturing company located in Mexico. The company has a total of 3000 employees. The company’s operation is divided into four districts that is District 4-East, District 3-West, District 2- South and District 1-North.

The project is about constructing a new office and production floor for the Trillo Apparel Company which is a design and manufacturing company. The company’s business has expanded considerably in the past years giving the need to expand its production facility in order to accommodate the district operational needs.

This report aims to provide the management with the summary of this project to ensure its success. It outlines the project techniques used, the organizational structure, the project administrative team, and project risk and change management, the project performance and status as well as the summary on whether the project is achievable within the stipulated time and resources available.

Organizational structure

Organizational structure is an arrangement of activities like tasks, communications, and authority in an organization. It determines how roles and responsibilities are assigned and the flow of information from low level to top level in management. The organization structure of Trillo Apparel Company is functional in nature. The project manager is the head of this organization and is responsible in overseeing all other operations. The project manager is the executive manager and makes all the major decisions.

The organization is divided under different departments all headed by one person who is the functional manager. The functional manager is the one who coordinates and leads the team in its operations and also reports to the project manager. Different departments have different skills so the team members are responsible for implementing major operations of the project. Below is an organization structure of the company.

Project and Administrative teams

Administrative teams are responsible for providing a conducive framework under which the project can operate efficiently. They ensure that there is enough resources, personnel, flow of information, equipment and materials among other things. The administrative teams have been divided into the following groups:

Human resource – this team is responsible for recruiting people with relevant skills, training people and meeting their needs, ensuring of positive welfare relation. They are also responsible in assigning appropriate salaries to people according to their skills.

Communication and information team- this team is responsible with ensuring efficient flow of information within the organization. They ensure that all the stakeholders get informed on project
