Describe several visual aids and how they can be used to clarify the seller's position or a buyer's position.

Visual aids help your presentation to be more realistic and understanding. Visual aids help you reach your objective by providing emphasis to whatever is being said. Clear pictures multiply the audience's level of understanding of the material presented and should be used to reinforce messages, clarify points and create excitement.

Visual aid involves your audience and change hearing to seeing and adds impact and interest to the presentation. They enable you to appeal to more than one sense at the same time, thereby increasing the audiences understanding and retention level. With pictures, the concept or ideas you present are no longer simply words, but words with images. Visual aid provides the audience with more retention of information versus the presentation just being presented by speech. Upon using visual aids, your audience retains information at least three day after a meeting. Without visual aids the impact of a presentation may leave the audience shortly after the audience leaves the presentation. Visual aids reinforce your main ideas; you reach your audience more effectively and continue to make them think about the presentation long after the presentation ends.

Charts and flip charts are usually large sheets of paper that are place on an easel. These sheets of paper usually have words, bars or graphics in which the speaker flips as he is presenting his presentation. Charts and flip charts helps the speaker proceed through the material, conveying the information, provides the audience with something to look at in addition to the speaker.
