-What are the some advantages and disadvantages of providing employees with very specific descritions of their jobs?

In the recent years, job description process became really significant to determine patterns of jobs, and most of the companies has started to use this tool at their employee selection periods. However, before, it was different in which companies did not do a specific description and they expect many requirements when they hire a person as an employee. In this case, job description process gained some advantages and disadvantages to the companies and work environment.

With the improvement of new laws about working environment to protect the employees and also with the changes in the business life, companies has started to hire different employees for every different jobs. At that point job description process has applied to the business life and it has created many advantages for companies and employees. However, nowadays, most of the companies are using job description and it creates employees an opportunity to find a job in the field that they are specialized.

On the other hand, we can say some of the disadvanteges of this system. In my opinion, all of these disadvantages are for companies. For instance, before, companies could hire only one person to handle a lot of jobs' requirements, but nowadays it became impossible. Secondly, with this process, as a company, you can loose a really self-developed employee, because job descriptions can cause people to think the requirements that are written in the description do not fit themselves. At that point they do not think to apply for the job.

In conclusion, as a future employee, I can say that job description should be a significantly used document for companies.
