Background of White Horse Berhad

        White Horse Ceramic Industries Sendirian Berhad was incorporated as a private limited company in Malaysia since 1992 under the Companies Act 1965. Besides, it has operations in Thailand, Australia, Philipines, India and Indonesia. However, the company changed to a public limited company known as White Horse Berhad which is listed under the main board of KLSE in 1997 and it is wholly owned subsidiary by White Horse Ceramic Industries Sendirian Berhad. 

        White Horse Berhad is an investment holding company and through its subsidiaries, it engaged in manufacture and distribution of ceramic and homogenous tiles as well as the provision of management services. The White Horse Berhad manufactures ceramic wall tiles series, ceramic floor tiles series and porcelain tiles series; distributes, which the company involves in selling ceramic and homogeneous tiles. Besides, it has a wide range of network where it distribute to countries such as Philipines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka and New Zealand which makes White Horse Berhad becomes one of the biggest tile manufacturers of ceramic and homogenous tiles in Malaysia.

        Moreover, White Horse Berhad consist of three subsidiaries companies which are White Horse Ceramic Industries Sendirian Berhad, White Horse Marketing Sendirian Berhad and White Horse Ceramic Industries (Vietnam) Limited Company. White Horse Ceramic Industries Sendirian Berhad and White Horse Ceramic Industries (Vietnam) Limited Company was appoint in the manufactures and distributes ceramic and homogeneous tiles. Among other White Horse Marketing Sendirian Berhad which distributes and allocation ceramic and homogeneous tiles.        In 6 August 1999, Mr Liao Yuan Shun was appoint as executive chairman of White Horse Berhad. Mr Liao ventured in ceramic tiles industry more than 35 year. In the beginning, the company only produce basic ‘salt and pepper’ tiles. However, through the management team’s intelligence and hard work of White Horse, it has achieved the company’s vision becoming the best tile manufacturers in Asia Pacific.

        Today, the company can be so successful and well recognised by many consumers are because of the innovative and responsible key people of the company leading it. The White Horse are grateful and honoured to have the efforts in striving for quality and services excellence being recognised by numerous industrial certifications and international recognitions.
