                    A  Leaf

I am a leaf,the son of a maple tree.I love my mother very much.If you want to know how much I love her,I will say that I am willing to sacrifice myself to protect her.But my life experience will give you a most convincing answer.

I was born in spring which was a merry time to me.My mother lifted me up high and entertained me with the gentle breeze.I spent the warm and comfortable spring with smiles.Then came the summer.That was a sunny as well as hard season.Mostly,I was glad to take a shower bath.But it became too hot sometimes.I stuck to my post to protect my mother.When it came to autumn,I was extremely depressed.The strong wind took me away from my mom to a remote place in spite of my tears.There is nothing I can do with this.I just went with the wind.Eventually,winter came.It occurred to me that mom was afraid of the cold weather.I struggled to find my mom,seeing her shivering in the cold wind.Tears just streamed down from my eyes.I sacrificed myself to become dirt to nourish and protect my mom.And my life had come to an end.

It is my mom who gives me life.And I am willing to sacrifice my life as long as she needs.Althhough I am an obscure leaf，I have a thankful heart.
