America and Russia: who is stronger?
Today, the countless numbers of people on the Internet in the online forums, blogs, and in the mass media are trying to compare Russia and America. It is obvious, that the most heated debates are under way on the Internet. Those who live in Russia come into fierce verbal battles with those who, for various reasons, had left Russia and lives in America. In fact, why these people do divided into two opposing camps, and, defending their views, terribly hate each other. It will be easy to understand whether Russia or the United States are better or stronger, or more beautiful, and so on, if to compare the major conditions and requirements of the ordinary man to the relations within the society, to the social sphere, and to the respect of to the law and order.
In spite of all the differences, these two countries have a little in common. Russia and the United States are alike since they both have the huge territories and conduct the expansionist policy. Moreover, people of both countries are aware of themselves as a nation of salvation, or a great nation. As an example of the expansionist policy, take at least the wars, arranged by the United States in Syria, in Iraq, in Vietnam, and the nuclear bombing of Japan. On the part of Russia, as the successor of the USSR, there are black pages in the history as introduction of Soviet troops of Hungary and Czechoslovakia, and the war imposed on Afghanistan. Even now Russia is trying to control the republics of the former USSR, by imposing on them its policy.
To some it may seem that Russia is still has a lot in common with America or vice versa, however, the facts do not provide the grounds for such conclusions. The biggest difference, which is evident to anyone who had come to America from Russia, is the attitude of people towards each other within society. For the most part, people in America are friendly, calm, and
extremely tolerant of those who are not like them; this can not be said about Russia where everything which differs from the "norm", sooner or later, is destroyed. Unfortunately, in Russia it is not uncommon that in the store, on the street, at work or even in a theater people runs the risk of being humiliated, having been shouted at, mocked and insulted by anyone. People do not smiling to each other, why do we need to pretend, so they say, opening the view of others, how bad they are doing. How often migrants from Russia have to face problems is anyone's guess, but they will never be left without assistance. Volunteering in America is very developed; people are absolutely unselfish in helping to the elderly and animals. Russia lags behind America in this issue. People are always alone with their problems, execution of documents, the opening of the firm, social benefits: it will take a lot of time before things will get off the ground; for example, before a single mother with three children will gather a huge pile of documents on a monthly child allowance of ninety rubles, the equivalent of two dollars; before the person who has stolen all of the documents will get new ones instead. What can we say about the poor pets that are running around the streets in search of food, stray dogs gather in flocks and attack people. However, people in Russia are always very hospitable, if you get close to them. This contradicts the above, but it's true.
