"I am Beowulf, I am Beowulf". Beowulf was created in the Anglo-Saxon period.

Beowulf was a Warrior from the sea. He was a Brave, Generous, Friendly and Loyal young man. Beowulf was mostly Brave, because of all the things that put his life endangered.

First reason why Beowulf bravery stands out more than anything else is his first impression. When Beowulf first arrived to the village he gave this big speech basically saying," I am Beowulf , I am the Beowulf. I was sent here to kill your Dragon…Your Grendel". That lets you know he is not afraid to go against a creature who has killed thousands. He is letting the village know that he is the warrior that will bring there village peace.

Wulfgar challenges Beowulf in lines (131-2) saying," Now go to him as you are, in your armor and helmets/But leave your battle-shields here, and your spears". By reading the quote you sense a bit of doubt from Wulfgar. He tries his best to make him look bad in front of the villagers and the king by telling a story about Beowulf and Brecca .In the story Wulfgar tells, he starts it off by yelling, "You're Beowulf, are you-the same Boastful fool who fought a swimming Match with Brecca". Wulfgar also strongly believes all Beowulf's battles have been luck. Wulfgar quotes in lines ( 258-9) "You've been lucky in your battles ,Beowulf ,but I think Your luck may change if you challenge Grendel…".your spearse he gave this big speech basically
