"Brighter than light"

Jess Veron used to live in a province , 'till she had decided to move in the urban which is far from her hometown. One night the young lady went out for a walk , bright lights were all over the place , it made her reminisce the times she spent in her hometown , the times when the moon and stars illuminates the sky instead of high building lights. She averted her gaze after hearing a loud thunder. Extensive raindrops started pouring down and compelled Jess to take refuge in a nearby convenience store. There she saw a teenager , Jess started a dialog , " it's really pouring huh.." the teenager looked at her and said "there's a rainstorm." The teen's consice response made Jess think that maybe the lady isn't the chatty type , she thought of an appropriate answer so that the conversation won't end, "oh ... was it on the news?" Asked Jess , "nope , just a guess." The teen answered candidly. Jess was left in an awe. She couldn't distinguish if the lady was kidding or being serious. The teen chuckled and said "i was joking. I'm Rena , and you?" The country gal let out a sigh of relief ,smiled and introduce herself. The teenagers chatted for a while. Rena is her first friend since the lady moved to the city. Jess told the city gal an anecdote about her college. In college Jess' is isolated ,their drastic attitude towards the lady didn't affect her in any negative way,instead she chose to fortify her mental state and will. Jess took the alternative of forfeiting , she tried harder , took initiative and spoke with the college ladies , they all told anecdotes about themselves and acknowledge each other. Although some of the city folks attitude is still rather erratic , they still remained friends with the country girl. Some could be bossy at times , but
