Creature

As the sun shone persistently through my flower-curtain and lighted every corner of my room, I was awakened from my deep slumber and slowly stretched like lazy cat.  A smile sweeter than five candies can be seen as it will be my very first day to work. I am going to work today! I bolted to my colony base to form a team of two. As soon as I reached there, I could not control the tremendous smirk on my face. I will be in pair with my crush! It was a love at first sight, she was as white as a snow. Then, we were assigned to search for something rather enigmatic, a violet stone deep inside a forest called “The Forbidden Forest”.  

She asked me whether I can work alone I and gladly told her yes. To finish our mission early, we tried to search the stone in different areas alone. As I was searching the stone, a loud, awful roar of a colossal being could be heard. A scream was heard.  My heart palpitations tripled and I rushed to the area. There I was, dumbfounded as if my feet were rooted to the ground. Lily’s carcass was lying on the ground. She was killed in cold blood. Steams could be seen coming out from my nostrils as I scream as loud as I can.  The sky was getting cloudy. In a few seconds, the sky cried heavenly torrents with me. Tears can be seen streaming down my cheeks … I cried in agony, even the sky showed its sympathy towards Lili’s tragic death by emptying itself into a marathon downpour. It was my fault. The evening was rather melancholic..
