Education

If you could change one thing about the way you receive education, what would you change and why?

        As Nelson Maldela said :"Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world". Indeed, education is essential not only to the ecnomic and social well- being of a country but also to an individual's life. Currently, since Vietnam is a developing country, we are still facing many challenges in every aspect. Education is not an exception. If I had power to change the education Vietnamese students are received, I would definitely spend more effort learning human behavior. First of all, we spend the first eighteen years which is a key period of time for shaping  one's personality studying and living at school. Therefore, education at the early ages has huge impact on the rest of one's life. In my opinion, I strongly believe that school should help students nurture their souls. More specifically, school should pay more attenttion to teaching students how to respect other people, how to empathize with people living in difficult circumstances and being aware of the value of peace. For example, organizing some trips to orphanages would encourage students to help other people and make them value the current lives they have. One of the greatest demonstration for the effectiveness of learning human behavior at the early ages of life is Japan education. Students in primary schools do not need to study math or science, they learn about how to treat people around them in the right way, this plays an intergral part in the process of bringing Japan back from the pain of the world and becoming a top country in the entire Asia.
