Background of the Study
Generation of today considered internet as part of everyday lives. Because of this, business minded people established businesses all over the internet. The online market has shown rapid growth all over the world. It seems like online shops has invaded all sites in the internet including the social media- Facebook and Instagram. Thus, this kind of business is arising quickly. Most of the people, especially teenagers are the frequent buyers online because this is the most convenient way in buying products rather than shopping in the actual store. In just one click, the product you want is yours and in just a few days, the product you bought is already in your hands. Though there are some negative effects in buying products online, we strongly believe that there are many advantages and benefits of shopping online.
The objective of this study is to know the effects of mobile marketing and alternative shopping among teenagers. This study also aims to educate readers on how consumers prompt them to buy online products through their purposes and difficulties or problems that may encounter in buying online. Through this study, readers will have knowledge on how online shopping can affect teenagers and to emphasize the advantage and disadvantage of it. This study would be a great help to ones teenagers not to indulge with online shops too much and knowledge enough on how online shopping might affect one’s literacy. By that means buyers will be responsible enough to control themselves from buying online and this would be an aid to minimize online shopping.
