  1. In recent years, supplements have become more and more popular, and people often times consume them with thoughts that these processed vitamins and minerals will be a suitable substitute for fruit and vegetables.
  • Supplements can have side effects and increase risk of lung cancer, cardiovascular problems, or even mortality.
  • The elderly can have difficulties absorbing nutrients from food, therefore the supplements can help to facilitate with that by supporting their ability to absorb nutrients into their body.
  1. The last essential is sleep, which is vital for well-being, hence deprivation impacts our productivity, leads to low energy levels and increases stress.
  • It is recommended to sleep 7-8 hours a day
  • Insufficient sleep  increases possibility to get heart disease, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc
  1. Productivity and perception levels worsen with a less amount of sleep, causing numerous dangers on the roads and in the workplace.
  • A tremendous amount of car accidents were caused by microsleep
  • Drowsy and tired drivers are obviously allowed to drive, but they are at least as dangerous on roads as if they were drunk
  • Lack of sleep results in bad performance, tiredness and mood swifts.
  1. Having six hours of undisturbed and peaceful sleep might also significantly elevate energy level.
  • During our sleep, the human body rests and conserves energy
  • Lack of sleep results in bad performance, tiredness and mood swifts
  1. Moreover, sleep strongly correlates with stress, which has been proven by numerous studies.
  • Stress is a primary factor of sleep deprivation
  • Sleep deprivation usually leads to overthinking, depression, breakdowns and burnouts.
  1. Conclusion: Thus, methodical exercise, a balanced diet, and sufficient sleep are the key factors in staying healthy.

Essential of well-being

Fuller (1732), who was a writer and a physician, stated that, “Health is not valued till sickness comes”. A human’s life is not eternal, and the terms of it are undetermined. But every early death is a tragedy and most of them are caused by different diseases and unhealthy life styles. The worst is that people think if they have a significant amount of money, they can buy health. However, no matter how perfect medicine is and how much money a person has, only these two factors cannot prevent all diseases. A person is the creator of his health and he must look after the conditions of health in order to extend his life.
