Boost is a global organisation which categorized as a retail business as well as a fast food industry. In order to become one of the world’s most famous and loved brands, Boost tries to expand its market not only within the domestic market but also the international market which Boost has already appointed franchisees in several countries such as China, the UK, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, India, South Korea etc. (Boost juice Bars, 2011). Being a global business, Boost has its main headquarter located in Australia and the regional franchisees partners located in different areas. In addition, each regional franchisee is supervised by a regional manager who is responsible for managing the Boost branches distributed within the region. According to these, the organisation structure of Boost is considered as divisional structure.

Divisional structure is defines as a company's hierarchical setup. This structure divides the management into several important functions and divisions accordance with different geographic, product or market. The divisional structure is focused on setting goals and targets for each division, in other words, it is much easier for company to manage and operate due to all employees in each division are responsible and accountable to their direct manager. Therefore, the divisional structure is more appropriate for those large companies with numerous layers of managements such as Boost. In Boost, the divisional structure is divided based on the geographic functions which included the CEO in Australia headquarter, the manager of the regional franchisee in China, the managers of the regional branches in the distributed areas and the employees from each branches. There are ten branches within the region of China which managed by the regional manager. Moreover, a regional manager has to report the annual performances back to the CEO in Australia headquarter to keep on track. As a result, the divisional structure is the best-suited
