Happy Couple

Everything was exceptionally sweet and mellow. The environs - encapsulated with harmony, serenity, joy and bliss; intoxicated with love. On more literal terms, the soft limpid light of the golden chandelier, embellished on the ceiling fell upon them, making their already glowing faces glisten in the relatively dark background.
The tranquility of the setting was unharmed by carefully infusing a soft instrumental melody, playing in the background. The ‘happy couple' continued to be in utmost unity with each other. The lady in the duo was wrapped in a dainty white dress with alluring silver embroidery; and a mesmerizing pearl necklace, complimenting her snow-white appearance. Her hair was carefully tied in a French top-knot clipped with the most gorgeous silver-beaded buckle. While, the male seemed slightly more rugged, maybe due to his casual, woken-up-from-sleep hairstyle. But, just like the woman, everything about him spoke class- right from the sophisticated Armani suit, to his posh black shoes. His honey colored eyes and charming smile, portrayed immense humility and chivalry.
As his eyes met the lady's the latter immediately looked down with a coy smile as a reflex action, with her cheeks slowly turning pink. At that time, the brilliant smell from the peppery lemon soup and Caesar's salad dominated all senses. The steam from the soup was one of the very few sources of warmth that caressed their faces.
Gradually the silence was broken by an eventful sequence of sounds, but none disturbing the couple. At one end, warnings by strict mothers signaling their kids to not recklessly attack on the desert; while on the opposite side, squeals of chatter let out by a large group of women injected the air with volatility. The ‘happy couple' continued to enjoy the presence of each other, unaffected by the epidemic of laughter.
