How might the disadvantage of immigration affect the chances of having that American Dream?
How might one move to the usa if the cost of living is so high. people in third world countries like honduras struggle paycheck to paycheck, some want to move to the usa to have that american dream that they see in the tv or hear from other people. It cost about :”500 to 700” dollars just for the flight . “Costly, Ramires C. "Honduras." Practical Travel Information on Money and Costs in. TAM, Mar.-Apr. 2007. Web. 22 Oct. 2013. Having to spend that amount of money is a big disadvantage , because people who are already in the usa , and they want to live that american dream don't have to waste the extra money on just getting to america. Also immigrants have to adjust to the prices in america, because all their lives immigrants have been used to use a different currency(Lempiras) that is not as expensive as us dollars. Over there an average meal per person at lunch cost about 18 lempiras, that is about .85 cents over here, its really hard to adjust to the price spike. Thats the case for the immigrant , they would just say yes for the bosses , or directors to leave them alone. Another big reason that language is preventing immigrants from achieving the american dream. Many immigrants don't know how to even start . imagine if you were looking at a basement full of dirt clothes and a bunch of garbage. Some will just stand there wondering what do i even start with. Well thats many cases for an immigrant that doesn't even know the tongue of the
