Is Helping the Poor Good or Bad?

Although catering to the needs of the poor and providing help to them may be look at as a way of making them lazy and endangering ourselves in the future, but helping out the less fortunate means that we have help ourselves…the world…by keeping the brotherly love alive we save the lives of millions of innocent souls.
It’s the responsibility of every citizen to cater to the needs of their fellow citizens who are less fortunate. By doing so, we keep the brotherly love alive and also strengthen our country both now and in the future. By donating, we provide shelter, clothing, and medications for those who are in need of them. In order to help the poor and third world countries, many rich countries such as the US increases its industrials and agricultural production and by increasing these they create new jobs for their own citizens at home. Some of those citizens’ are farmers who benefit the most from such a deal. They get paid more to produce more goods. Apart from farmers, truckers and people at the rail roads also benefit from such an increase in production.
Although we all may agree that it’s morally right to render help to the poor, we can all also agree that it doesn’t help but make things worse for them, for us, and the world as a whole. If we do provide food, clothing, shelter, money or whatever help that is needed to the poor, then all we are doing is making them lazy. They are going to always depend on us for everything they need and want, instead of finding a solution of their own and help themselves. Let’s say for example we produces a lot of crops, vegetables, and rice to help the poor, yes we are indeed helping them but again putting ourselves at risk. How? First we know for fact that most third world countries have a high population growth and by helping them, their population is going to increase rapidly.
