Introduction
In the present world, technology is continuously changing at a very high speed. It has covered almost all the fields in this modern society. Technology has helped us in changing our life for the betterment of our future. It can be considered as one of the primary driving forces of the future. Current age may be considered as the technological age because of the heavy dependence of society on technology (Lane & Chisholm, 1991). Technological changes also help in economic growth of the country because it has given a new direction to the business organizations to introduce their products at the global level, etc. (Roger, 2007).
Modern technology enables us to utilize the limited resources very effectively. Every country and organizations has to adopt the technological changes to improve productivity and for the survival in present situation of competition (Lane & Chisholm, 1991). Technological changes help any particular industry in lowering the costs.
Introduction of New Products to the Customers
In order to introduce the new products to the customers the organizations uses information technology. Information technology has affected every aspect of our life. There is an unprecedented growth in IT sector in the modern world. Computerization and instruments of mass communication (internet, cell phones, television, etc.) have taken control over our life and has become an integral part of our society (Roger, 2007). Computerization has increased the effectiveness of all the sectors. These changes can be seen in every industry such as hospital, automobile, manufacturing, banking and service sectors.
The companies use media and communication technology to introduce the products to the customers. Under this technology the company advertise the product though offline and online media communications. These offline channels of advertising the products are news paper, pamphlets, broachers, radio, television, cell phones, etc. the online channel of advertising the products are internet, etc. (Kotler, 2002). The young generations are very much influenced by Internet media. Through this the companies can introduce a new product in all over the world at the same time within minimum budget. This way the information technology helps the companies to advertise the product and services with effective features and well defined tag line (Kahl, n.d.).

Technology is also one of the main sources to develop a strong and long term relationship with the customers. Information Technology is the collection of products and services which help in converting the data into useful and easy-to-use information.
