Motivation is the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way. I have many reasons to be motivated. My children are my main motivation in this writing course. Also, I need to be motivated in order to do well for myself. Motivation to me is the key to success. If you are not motivated then you most likely will not finish what you have started or do good at it.
My children motivate me most because I always think of them as I make choices in life. I want to be successful and for them to know that you can do whatever you put your mind to at any point in your life. Our future depends on me so that is motivation enough for me to get everything done complete my classes.
I want to be successful for my family. My husband is the sole supporter for our family right now and I want to be able to help him so that he doesn’t feel like it all is on his shoulders. When I think about this it helps motivate me to do my best. There are times when I feel overwhelmed but I focus on my goals and try to stay focused.
There are many obstacles that I will face while completing this course. Being a mom, working part time and taking another course are just a few obstacles I will face. For example, I meant to submit this assignment last night but my son wasn’t feeling well and was restless. By the time he finally went to sleep, I fell asleep with him. There will be more obstacles I’m sure but with motivation and faith I know I will get through them.
Motivation to me is the key to success. Without it we wouldn’t have what it takes to succeed. Assignments, Intellipath, studying, discussion boards, etc. all take motivation to stay on top of things. I am thankful that I am surrounded by family and friends that motivate me constantly.
