Abstract
There is a growing emphasis on employees to not just do their job but to contribute to business success. As the emphasis is placed on individuals contributing to the effective, positive perpetuation of the business through the development of professional and work related skills; the team culture of business today places additional emphasis on the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Specifically, this paper will discuss the importance of building synergistic teams across organizations and the implications for business success and team success. The objective is to create synergistic teams by making employees feel safe enough to give each other feedback, advice, information, and constructive criticism so that each team member feels comfortable learning; thus improving productivity and quality.
