Are you aware of the foods that you intake every meal? How do you feel about your weight and your appearance? What do you see yourself when looking in the mirror? Are you skinny, perfect, fat or overweight? Obesity and overweight have in the last decade become a global problem. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) back in 2005, approximately 1.6 billion adults over the age of 15+ were overweight, at least 400 million adults were obese, and at least 20 million children under the age of five years were overweight. Experts believe if the current trends continue by 2015, approximately 2.3 billion adults will be overweight and more than 700 million will be obese (NewsMedical, 2012).Obesity is an excess proportion of total body fat. His clothes were wet thoroughly due to the grease of oily and fatty foods. The smell of his sweat was enough to make people get away from him. Thus, to prevent obesity, we must have well balanced diet and eliminate our desire and temptation on the foods that we eat.
Obesity can be divided into five main factors: emotional problems, bad eating habit, lack of exercise, lack of sleep and lifestyle. First, emotional problems can sometimes be the reason on why people eat a lot to forget their problems or to relieve a feeling of emptiness (Verito, 2008). Next, bad eating can also arouse obesity.
