One Fiercely and Scary Night
One fairly cold night in December outside of the night club formally known as "The Birdland" People were drinking huge cups of drinks, loud music playing, and cars speed balling up this way street. My friend Olexcess and I worked a ten hour shift and we decided that we wanted to experience the club. Some of our customers would always come to our job and tell us how much fun they had the previous night. So we decided to go to the club not thinking about the consequences of going I would have to pay later. When we arrived to the club there were three security guards one of them was extremely huge checking purses. The other security was doing a pat search from head to toe. Well it was kind of a long line so when it was my turn to get searched it took quite bit of a time. The guard then took my big shiny gold purse and searched it thoroughly. I believe he did it because I had so much junk it. He took every piece of paper out and went through them one piece at a time. I was mad by this time and had changed my mind about going inside the club. Now I'm asking for my purse back so I can leave. The guard acted as if he didn't hear me so then he started picking up all the coins at the bottom of my purse and throwing all my papers back in my purse. By then I had done snatched my purse out of his hand. He said ma'am here is your gum back". I asked him, "Why did you get my gum out of my purse without my permission" he said, "I just wanted a piece".
Now we are walking up these long dark stairs and I changed my mind again. I was like Olexcess do you really want to go inside. She replied, "We have stood in this long line and walked up these dark high stairs yes Gladys I want to go inside". Finally we in the club and all I can see were disco lights gleaming from the ceiling and a large amount of people just scattered everywhere. The club was packed to its capacity. I had never seen such in my life. At that moment I was thirsty and had remembered the customers informing us about this drink called, "Whiskey Sour". Meanwhile standing in another line at the bar to order a drink, I decided I was drinking Whiskey sour for the night. I told Olexces this drink "Better be good". As we were standing in line for twenty minutes we finally received our drinks. After drinking a small portion Whiskey Sour I pointed to the dance floor. Olexces started socializing and I stood alongside of her listening to the music and drinking some more Whiskey Sour. I yelled to Olexces, "I am fixing to dance" As I wanted heading to the center of the dance floor I mistakenly stepped on Olexces friend sister feet. In my shiny yellow two inch BCBG pumps. I knew I had hurt her toes by the way she screamed. Never the less I apologized I apologized for the incident, but her sister was accepting my apology as if I had stepped
