I never thought of where my life is going to. I always believed that my life will take me where I want to go, but I never thought that I was the one who could choose where I wanted to go. Since I attended high school where I had learned so many things in school, I decided to change the way I thought about the past. This is why I chose to be in college because I knew that education is so important to me and my future. I believe college is the key that will get me to my goals. So, I chose this way for myself rather than let someone choose a different path for me.

I have chosen to go to the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater because I wanted to have the experience in there. As well as we all know, college or university life can be a very exciting time, but it can be a challenge and totally different from high school. It is because we were not teenagers any more we are adults. Otherwise, I wanted to find a way to what I want to be in my future, such as getting a good education to support my family. Being at a university is a better choice, but I never thought that I would drop out in the middle of my sophomore year.

During all this time I was focused on my career only. I never thought about my life outside of high school until my senior year. I just realized during this year that everything in my life might involve my career interests. I am very committed to my career choices. I chose to major in Elementary Education because I love to work with children and enjoy watching them learn and grow. However, to accomplish this goal is far and more difficult than I imagined it will be.

While I was attending at the UW-Whitewater, everything seems to be alright. A year later, on the beginning of my first semester of my sophomore year, my sister called me and told me that my mother was in a car accident.
